Jane del Greco has an undergraduate degree in psychology and an MBA, both from Miami University of Ohio. As Roman and balloon shade workroom for five Calico Corners stores for 12 years, Jane has had more experience making Romans than anyone on the planet. She has been described as a creative “Maker” almost since birth by friends and family and was taught by her paternal grandmother to sew when she was 4 years old—in fact she still has the machine on which she learned. Being both a left- and right-brain thinker, she took her love of sewing and combined the two into a successful business. Sewing involves geometry, math, spatial skills, and a sense of design—what could be more perfect? Jane can make nearly anything you can dream up. With the beautiful array of fabrics in the world, every day is different—how fun is that??
Attention to detail throughout the process sets del Greco designs apart from other workrooms, from measuring, designing or following someone else’s design to fabrication and installation. Listening is key! The fit is always perfect and everything is discussed ahead of time so clients get exactly what they want. We have access to many fabric, trim, blind and hardware vendors and can get them for you, or we are happy to work on what you have acquired on your own.
Need motorization? Most treatments can now be fitted with either hardwired or battery powered motors and operated by remote or smart phone apps. Have children, grandchildren or pets in the house? del Greco designs follows current child safety standards with everything they make, motorized or manual. We listen!
